Honeypots are specialized ants who swell their belly to become living stores of honeydew.

Because they are unable to move normally they are hung from the ceiling and fed by the rest of the colony.
The food they receive can transform it into honeydew.

The transformation is carried out in the "Cellar" room using solid foods as raw material.
