Honeydew is a sticky substance rich in sugar secreted or produced by some insects such as aphids and bees.

Some ant species have specialized in "milking" Aphids, in exchange for care and protection, in order to achieve the precious honeydew.

The collected honeydew is stored in the "Social Stomach" .
